Halo 2 Rocks!!!
Halo: Combat Evolved, in my humble opinion, is the main and only reason to own a Microsoft Xbox. With the release of the much anticipated Halo 2 on November 9th, one now has two good reasons to get an Xbox. Naturally, I preordered my Limited Edition Halo 2 copy like every other dedicated fan out there, and paid it in full to be on the Gamestop VIP line.
Bungie, of course, made quite a few changes to how Halo 2 is played. Everyone by now has surely heard of the Master Chief's ability to dual wield certain weapons. The pistol, SMG, plasma pistol, plasma rifle, and needler are all dual weildable and interchangeable. Halo 2 also removed the concept of health packs; you no longer have a health bar, just a shield gauge which is supposed to recharge faster than before. The Master Chief does not take falling damage anymore and jumps even higher, apparently improvements of the upgrade to 'Mark VI' armor.
More to come later...
